Kevin Henry

for Wallingford Swarthmore School Director, Region 1

Kevin Henry is running for School Board for the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District. He has been a resident of Nether Providence for 19 years and, coming from a proud family of public school teachers, is a strong proponent of public education and our local school district. Additionally, both of Kevin’s children (class of 2020 and 2023) have benefited from a great educational experience in the WSSD schools.

Kevin is active in the local community as a community organizer for the Media Food Bank, NPAA baseball and basketball coach, minority inspector for local and national elections, Boy Scout Troop 272 Committee member, and a volunteer for the Delaware County Citizens’ Corps and Medical Reserve Corps. Kevin is a U.S. Navy veteran and a proud supporter of numerous veteran’s charities.

If elected, Kevin has a focused interest in improving the academic experience for all students, teachers, and parents, celebrating diversity and inclusion, and injecting renewed energy and a fresh voice to the School Board.
